All designs are original, and combine harmoniously throughout the seasons. This why they make such fabulous , distinctive gifts. Most use entirely recycled materials, and do the planet a good turn.
Mariposa represents a timeless collaboration between designer and craftsmen, artist and artisan. Every piece is made individually, for us, by hand.
Our designers are sculptors and painters. They work with us first, then our artisans around the world- the very best we can find. Our artisans view each piece they make as art, not product.
Company was founded by Livia Cowan and is based in Manchester Massachusetts. Luxurious collections of Brillante aluminum, glassware and ceramic dinnerware. They are especially known for their extensive collection of cocktail napkin boxes that include attractive Caspari napkins.
Brillante aluminum , crafted in Mexico, is made from 100% recycled materials. Their Mexican artisans have their own laboratory, so our carefully regulated ingredients are monitored constantly. Our aluminum is F.D.A.- compliant and conforms to California Proposition 65, exceeding both national and regional guideline for food service.
