Arte Italica Celebrates 10 Years

Arte Italica was formed in 1997 by Ann Skidmore who was fascinated by Italian art, culture and design. Ann started the company by importing Italian pewter. Soon, she was importing ceramics, glass, bronze, and more. In 1999, Arte Italica became the first to combine pewter and ceramic into dinnerware, with our best-selling Tuscan collection. Continuing the tradition of introducing innovative products that are not to be found elsewhere in the marketplace, Arte Italica recently became the first to introduce glass and pewter dinnerware and accessories.

As one of the leading importers of luxury European decorative accessories and tableware in the United States, Arte Italica captures the essence of Europe with every handcrafted product using the same techniques passed down through generations of skilled artisans. As an authorized Arte Italica dealer, we hope you enjoy exploring the unique and rare beauty behind the Arte Italica collection.

I was fortunate enough to meet Ms Skidmore in her New York showroom during a recent buying trip for MadisonAveGifts.com. Her enthusiasm and charming personality is directly related to the unique products that she creates! A lovely lady, celebrating the 10th year of a very successful endeavor.

We're very exited at http://www.madisonavegifts.com/ to welcome Pimpernel products back! Recently acquired by Portmeirion USA who is well-known for its ceramic dinnerware that is made in England. Featuring a great mix of new and classic designs, and bringing back some of the previous classics like hooker fruits and tally-ho.
In addition to the stunning range of products including wooden trays, melamine trays, placemats and coasters, Portmeirion has designed an exclusive line to coordinate with their ceramic dinnerware and giftware; pomona, botanic garden, strawberry fair to name a few.
